Avaya lahenduses on võimalik võtta kontorist telefon, viia see koju ning ühendada Interneti. Oledki loonud kodukontori, kus on firma lauatelefoninumber.
See lahendus on üsna lihtne ja soodne, mis sobib väikeste kontorite jaoks, kus on vajalik ainult paar telefoni.
See on lihtne ja turvaline.
Kuidas see turvaliseks muudetakse?
Telefonist luuakse turvaline VPN ühendus kontorisse, mis järel hakkab tööle alles telefonikõne osa. Sõltuvalt turvalisuse tasemest on võimalik kasutajanimed salvestada telefoni või nõuda kasutajal nende sisestamist igal hommikul koos väljalogimisega õhtul. Saab kasutada ka PIN kalkulaatorit.
Kas midagi on vaja lisada?
Avaya VPN telefon saab kenasti hakkama kõigi enam levinud VPN lahendustega, milleks on Cisco, Juniper Netscreen, Checkpoint, Nortel ja teised. Vajalik on, et VPN lahendus toetaks ühte järgmistest võimalustest: Xauth with Preshared key, Xauth with Certificate, Preshared Key.
Milline on kõnekvaliteet?
Helikvaliteet sõltub suuresti Interneti ühenduse kiirusest ning tänapäeva ühenduste kiiruse juures on see parem, kui mobiiltelefonis.
